Being on a craft jury matters because craft matters.

It's an opportunity to celebrate the work that is both bold and beautifully executed.

At Jelly, we believe creativity deserves to be taken seriously, and juries are one of the ways we make sure it is! That's why we're so happy to see Executive Producers Eri (NY) and Pierre (Europe) on the jury this year.

Having lived and worked in the UK, I've witnessed clients say yes to creative concepts that would make a US brand team sweat. British clients and agencies treat commercial work as a genuine art form, embracing craft as the primary vehicle for connection. It's a culture where a bold, sometimes obscure, and often highbrow creative approach isn't a nice-to-have but the whole argument, and it has shaped how I think about what commercial work can and should do. Awards juries are one of the few spaces where the industry pauses to ask what we actually value, and I'm proud to be part of the group that's helping set that bar. - Eri Panasci Taylorson

I’m honoured to be part of the Creativepool Annuals jury this year. It’s a rare moment where you get to step back and see what people choose to put forward, what they believe deserves attention, whether it’s for the idea, the craft, the cause behind it, or simply its ability to surprise.I’m especially excited to discover work from different cultures and perspectives. I think I might be one of the only non UK or US jurors, and to me that really matters. Creativity needs that mix of backgrounds and references to evolve. I’d love to see work that could come from a different occidental POV, ideas that feel rooted somewhere real and not just formatted for the same global standard trying to satisfying everyone. I’m hoping to see bold choices. Brands and creatives taking risks, whether through strong artistic direction, unexpected concepts, or work that actually makes you feel something. There’s so much content out there that the work that stays with you is usually the one that dares a bit more. As jurors, I think our responsibility is to stay open but also intentional about what we reward. Not just polished work, but ideas with a clear point of view, something that brings a bit of freshness or honesty to the table. For me, craft is not just about execution. It’s about intention and coherence, how every detail works together to support an idea and make it land in a meaningful way. - Pierre Gobin
